With the government recommending that from Monday 13th December 2021 employees work from home if they can, it is time to dust off those previous plans and make sure that your processes and records are up to date!
The 3 main things to have in place and to keep up to date for each individual employee when working from home are:
- Working From Home Risk Assessment (a Health and Safety Requirement). If you need a template, please let me know and I can email one to you free of charge.
- Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment (a Health and Safety requirement). A template can be downloaded from here: https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/ck1.pdf
- Information Security Risk Assessment (this will ensure that team members have appropriate data security measures in place at home, to help avoid a data breach). If you need a template, please let me know and I can email one to you free of charge.
